good morning everyone! so happy you're here!
my name's crisann. i've been blogging for a few years now. i originally started this blog because i wanted somewhere to post my pictures for project life, but as you can see, that didn't work out very well. it turned into a place to post my projects and pages instead. owell. live and learn, i guess, right?
i've come to love art journaling and mixed media. i still do some scrapbooking. i still make some cards. i make jewelry. i read. i write. i'm a little on the adhd side - can't help it! i love anything that offers me the opportunity to be creative.
because of the grow your blog party, i thought it'd be fun to post my favorite pages and projects from twenty twelve, so you could get a really good idea of the kinds of things i do. so, without further ado, in no particular order, here are my twelve from twenty twelve...
so, there you have it - my absolute most favorite projects from last year. what do you think? leave me a comment and let me know which is your favorite.
the labels on the right sidebar will take you to more of my altered projects, art journal pages, cards, mixed media canvases, or scrapbook layouts - basically, whatever interests you...
also, i'd love for you to follow my blog if you're interested in seeing what i'm up to this year.
eta: turns out there are over 400 blogs participating in the grow your blog party. it's going to take me a while to get through them all. wow! what an awesome event! thanks so much, vicki! here's a link to the grow your blog party. so, if i haven't gotten to your blog yet, i promise i will - it just might take me a little while between work and school.
have a totally awesome weekend and happy creating!
Beautiful projects Crisann, I'm the same way. I love mixed media & art journaling. I think I only did about 3 layouts last year :D
ReplyDeleteLovely projects. :) I especially love your canvas "I can't do this but I'm doing it anyway" - I can relate. I do a little bit of everything too - mixed media, art journalling, stamping, scrapbooking, cross stitch.... too much sometimes. ;)

Hi Your projects are beautiful. Thor is very sweet.
ReplyDeleteI can see why these are your favorites...each one unique and beautiful. Love Tim and Thor's Fine Mess cooking adventure...and the journal in a jar idea! Happy Sunday - Tanya
ReplyDeleteThe name of your blog reminds me of a comment a teacher left on one of my report cards eons ago...
ReplyDeleteAccording to the teacher, I was "consistently inconsistent"...obviously she didn't understand the creative mind. :) Like Tanya, I like your journal in a jar idea!
sowing stitches - lol... too funny! that's where the name came from - my adhd or... eh, artisitic temperament. ;)
DeleteCongratulations Crisann! You are the 50th follower of my Blog! I didn't have your email to notify you but...TADA! I would love to send you a small thank you surprise, please drop me an email with your address.
ReplyDeleteHi Crisann - this is such pretty stuff. I like how you say you're a bit adhd, I'm the same I think. My head is always spinning, new ideas running ahead of me trying to finish some of my earlier projects. What I like most is the three pink-and-green papers (2nd from the top) with the red circles on them. Though the red canvas bottom of the row is a good competitor. Thank you for following me - same to you :)
ReplyDeletePia

Hi There! Thanks for visiting my blog! I peeked at yours last night and got to come back today to look more. Looks like we have a lot of common interests. I took BG SR1 last year and I'm in Art School right now but I have gotten very FAR behind ;) I must congratulate you on being the most Organized artist I think I have ever seen! I also saw your page about going to the OBX, that is my absolutley favorite place to vacation locally. I've been going there since I was a kid. I have done a retreat there maybe you can join us in the future ;) Looking forward to reading along with you this year!
ReplyDeletepam - thanks so much for stopping by! lol... i'm really far behind w/ art school as well. i got side-tracked w/ anatomy and physiology I and trying to teach myself chemistry. i actually just sat down to finish up the week 4 videos, since tomorrow is a holiday and there's no class.
